Cookie Policy

What we use

We keep this short because we use very little. Nothing non-essential runs unless you agree to it.

Essential storage

To sign you in we store authentication tokens in your browser's local storage, and we store your cookie choice the same way. These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off — without them you could not stay logged in. We do not use them to track you.

Analytics and ads measurement — optional

If you accept, we load two things. Google Analytics sets cookies to measure how the site is used (pages visited, roughly where visitors come from); IP addresses are anonymised and we use it to understand what's useful, not to identify individuals. The LinkedIn Insight Tag sets cookies that tell us whether our ads on LinkedIn lead to visits and signups, so we know if the ads are worth running. LinkedIn processes that data under its own privacy policy.

If you decline, neither script is ever loaded and neither sets any cookies at all — they are not merely disabled after the fact.

Payments

Payment pages are hosted by Stripe, which sets its own cookies for fraud prevention when you go through checkout. Those are necessary to take payment securely.

Change your mind

You can withdraw or give consent at any time, and you can clear cookies in your browser settings whenever you like.
